建筑也是可以回收再利用的。利用方式不是拆除重建，而是让原有的东西完美转型。今天介绍的这套房子，位于西班牙的巴塞罗那，这个散发着迷人魅力，拥有一个的花园和游泳池的房子，你无法想象它曾经是一个车库。这套房子的改造出自乔斯·路易斯·豪斯曼（JoséLuis Hausmann）的手，他将这个车库变成现代而有趣的房屋！
除了必要的支柱，所有墙壁均被拆除，并留下了一个开放的空间来容纳起居室、餐厅和厨房。层高比较高，设计师搭建了一个木制阁楼用来作为儿童房，也可用作客房。在它的下方，是主卧和客厅，客厅配有长凳和床垫，可实现沙发和床的双重功能。
这房子明亮开敞，自然光线洒进每个角落。为了增强这种敞亮的感觉，设计师把地板和墙壁都漆成白色。对材质肌理的强调是设计师的一个妙笔，地板、门、墙等很多地方用了仿旧洗白的方式做出很漂亮的肌理，不规则的笔触效果，模仿了时间的流逝，许多家具也使用了这种技术，一些墙壁上还涂有可回收的木板条，营造了休闲的乡村风格。
明亮的白色反射着温暖的阳光，丰富的自然肌理，加上色彩的点缀，让这个房子充满了积极的能量，让人心生愉悦。回收再装饰的家具，用粉笔油漆重新上色，一件件旧物，都得到了新生，环保是我们每一个地球人应有的责任。低调的窗帘正好跟明亮的点缀色作一个平衡。工业风的吊灯跟自然风格的家具反衬，形成一种奇妙的混搭。清新亮丽的配色、自然材质和肌理是这个房子所以动人的理由。
